1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Juggle (usejuggle.com), a student task scheduler. It explains how we collect, use, and handle your information, specifically including data accessed through Google API Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect your email and name via Google OAuth or email registration to manage your account. If you opt-in to Google Calendar integration, we access your calendar events to identify busy periods. We also store productivity data (tasks, deadlines, and estimated durations) that you manually create.

3. How We Use Your Data

Data is used strictly to provide and improve Juggle’s scheduling functionality. We use Google Calendar data to calculate available time slots via our deterministic algorithm. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use Google user data to train machine learning models for purposes outside of your individual scheduling experience.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Juggle does not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party service providers (such as PostgreSQL/Prisma hosting, Upstash Redis for rate limiting, and Resend for transactional emails) as necessary to provide our service. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties unless required for security, legal compliance, or as part of a merger/acquisition.

5. Data Protection and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect sensitive data. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest in our database. We use secure HTTPS protocols for all data transfers and utilize Upstash for rate-limiting to prevent service abuse and data scraping.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. You may disconnect your Google Calendar at any time via the Integrations settings. You have the right to delete your account; upon deletion, all personal data, including Google-synced events and stored tasks, will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.

7. Google Limited Use Compliance

Juggle’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
